Telenet raises monthly traffic limits, but still fails

July 13th, 2008

Telenet, one of the biggest ISPs in Belgium, has finally increased their monthly traffic limits for everyone who uses cable to connect to the internet. They did this without making a big fuzz about it, there’s no press-release yet. Belgacom, one the biggest competitors for Telenet, also raised their limits a few weeks back.

The most common internet package, ExpressNet, had its speed increased by 150%, from 10Mbps to 15Mbps and their traffic increased from 12GB/month to 20GB/month.

As previously calculated, it’s still possible to totally destroy your monthly limit in less than 5 hours.

We’re still being forced to buy expensive internet-accounts to fully enjoy all the possibilities of the Internet. When will they learn? Why are Belgian ISPs so restarted?
